Mike and I became good high school friends when working summers for the FM Parks Department teaching 6-9 year old boys how to play baseball behind Jefferson School. We also simultaneously dated two Aquinas HS girls who were also good friends. Mike had a great sense of humor and as the record shows became a great athletic coach. I enjoyed his comradery and will cherish these memories. William Patrigo

Mike called me before a school dance and asked me if I would teach him to dance.  During the process, we both were very uncomfortable but he persisted.  He became quite good and in email about a year ago, he said that he and his wife were still dancing.  You can imagine how great that made me feel.  Charlie

Michael was one of a kind and a good friend.  We kept in touch these last several years and touched base several times a year.  He could always make me laugh.  He never complained about his health struggles.  I'll certainly miss him.  We all are in time of life where we are saying goodbye.  So treasure each day.  Reach out to friends, say hello.
