Joyce Casady (Sheumaker)

UPDATE!!!

I have been off oxygen since Nov. 4. The Doctor released me from the oxygen company on Monday the 9th.

My ox stats have been from 94 to 99 percent.  Out of isolation, but will not go anywhere for awhile.

I am still very tired and still am confussed sometimes while talking and still have brain fog.  The Dr. says I might not be back to myself for many months. Just have to wait and see!

Please wear your mask and not be around anyone that does not have a mask on!

I was lucky I got covid-19 when I did, because now the hospital here in Chillicothe is full and in Liberty and the Kansas City area.  Chillicothe is having a lot of cases and deaths now.

THANKS FOR ALL OF YOUR PRAYERS AND CONCERN!

Joyce

FYI: Classmates: I just saw on the KingLynk website that Jim Doore passed away yesterday!! He was married to our classmate Linda Cashman and they lived in Burlington! No services are planned at this time! You can read the obituary at King-Lynk funeral home and creamatory! He was in the class of 60 I believe as he was just 79 when he died! Our prayers go out to Linda and family!

Classmates - well wishes, thoughts and prayers to all impacted by COVID-19. It is us versus the bugs! Hope we all win this one. Illinois just ratcheted up the mitigations again starting tomorrow.

I'm thinking there is a classmate who just recently celebrated her birthday without a mention on this forum - Happy birthday to Sharon Philpott Haugen and hoping to see her and hubby, Jan, at the 60th Class Reunion !!!!  Sure hope you had a great birthday !

I sent a private message to Sharon! Most birthdays are celebrated on the individual classmates profile!

Bill Boomer, I followed you, Lynda, and Terry Tykeson to Kanas University.  Or did you all follow me?  I remember coming home during one of our college breaks and teaching algebra to Peg Beattie's middle school class.  I think you and Terry did also.

I attended your wedding at Danforth Chapel atop the hill on the KU campus.  Later visited you guys once or twice when you were living in Hayes, KS.  After many many years, Lynda and I reunited at the last class reunion.

Classmates:  Again, I come to you with sad news. Cyndy Day Savage notified me today that Jerri Ann Nelle Welsh passed away recently. She said the obit would be in the Democrat newspaper. I will check out the paper and if there is any other pertinent information I will be back in touch with you. May Jerri Ann Rest in Peace.

Sharon

Classmates:  For those of you who have been trying to find Jerri Nelle Welsh's obituary in the Daily Democrat as far as I know it has not been published yet. I don't know when it will be but if I find out I will let you all know.

Classmates:  On another note I am sorry to tell you that Sandy Morrison Wisehart's husband Darwin, died of congestive heart failure on Thursday afternoon, December 3, 2020.  She told me he had been suffering with cancer for some time and that he had a stroke about a year ago but that ulitmately it was his heart that gave out. I have emailed all of you her address and phone number for those of you who would like to contact Sandy. May God watch over her in the next days and weeks to come. May Darwin Rest in Peace.

I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and lets hope 2021 is a much better year than we just lived through this year. Take care and stay safe and well.

To: Bill Patrigo

Response #1:  "Groan"

Response #2:

What are the three types of subordinate clauses?
There are three different kinds of subordinate clauses: adverb clauses, adjective clauses, and noun clauses. Each of these clauses are introduced by certain words.

Response #3:  "'Bubbles" Roan and Mrs Everingham would be proud of you
